The UKCA marking
What is the UKCA marking?
The UKCA marking is the product marking used for products being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).
From 1 January 2023, the UKCA marking will be mandatory and the only recognised marking for selling a product on the UK market.
What is the CE marking?
The Conformitè Europëenne (CE) Mark is defined as the European Union’s (EU) mandatory conformity marking for regulating the goods sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. The CE marking represents a manufacturer’s declaration that products comply with the EU’s Directives.
